Collegiate Executive Support Team

The Collegiate Executive Support Team is an important component of Spark STEM & Innovation’s shared governance model, providing college students with meaningful opportunities to participate in organizational leadership, administration, and decision-making.

Working alongside the President & CEO and Headquarters leadership, members of the team provide executive and administrative support, offer the collegiate perspective on organizational matters, assist with special initiatives, and help strengthen communication between Spark’s administration and its collegiate members.

Through this model, collegiate leaders gain hands-on experience in leadership, nonprofit administration, strategic planning, professional communication, and organizational operations while helping advance the mission of Spark STEM & Innovation.

The Collegiate Executive Support Team does not replace the authority of the President & CEO or Headquarters leadership. Instead, it ensures that collegiate voices are represented and valued as part of Spark’s commitment to shared leadership, professional development, and the next generation of leaders.

SPARK Ambassadors

The SPARK Ambassadors serve as the public representatives and goodwill ambassadors of SPARK Academy of STEM, Innovation & Career Readiness. They play an important role in promoting the organization's mission, engaging with students and community partners, and representing SPARK at educational, civic, and community events throughout Louisiana.

Working closely with students, families, volunteers, schools, and community stakeholders, SPARK Ambassadors help strengthen relationships, encourage community involvement, and increase awareness of the organization's programs and initiatives. Through their leadership, professionalism, and commitment to service, they help advance SPARK's vision of preparing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and workforce professionals.

The SPARK Ambassadors operate under the direction and supervision of the Chief of Staff, who provides strategic leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure ambassador activities align with the organization's mission, outreach priorities, and community engagement goals.
